Webinar by the Russian Ministry of Economic Development ‘Mentoring and its role in business start and growth’

On the 19th of August, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, together with ‘Sinergia’ Corporation delivered a webinar “My Business”, dedicated to mentoring agenda and the role of mentoring in business start and growth.

The key speaker of the webinar, Boris Tkachenko, founder of the Mentoring Institute and Youth Business Russia, spoke about mentoring trends, global and Russian local experience in mentoring in entrepreneurship programmes. Boris also highlighted such vital issues as ‘what’s good about being a mentor? what will mentees get? what’s the use of mentoring for a regional entrepreneurship support infrastructure?’ Boris also mentioned both mentors’ and mentees’ expectations and their actual relationships, as well as common mistakes and success tips in mentoring.
