Awareness-Raising Seminar “Introduction in Mentoring”, Centre for Entrepreneurship, November 27, 2015

On the 27th of November, 2015, the members of Youth Business Russia programme carried out awareness-raising seminar on mentoring, in the frame of the agenda of the Russian Days of Mentoring in Entrepreneurship, for the partners of the Centre for Entrepreneurship going to integrate mentoring into Business Accelerator regional programmes. The seminar was organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship and IBLF Russia, the leading organization in mentoring in entrepreneurship in Russia managing Youth Business Russia programme.

The participants came from Kirov, Kaliningrad, Tomsk, Tyumen, Vladivostok, Kaluga, Voronezh, Sevastopol and Moscow Region. Mr. TL Viswanathan, reputable mentor from India with 23-year track record, attended the seminar as the special guest. Victor Sedov, Chairman of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, welcomed the seminar participants and wished them every success in their endeavours. Boris Tkachenko, Youth Business Russia Programme Director and international expert in mentoring, and Irina Gorelova, leading expert in mentoring in entrepreneurship in Russia, acted as moderators and key speakers. Within 3 hours they led the attendees through all stages of design and implementation of mentoring programmes in Russian regions. Special attention was given to engagement of mentors (experienced entrepreneurs). Mr. TL Viswanathan added a significant value to the seminar through sharing his practical experience as sophisticated mentor and expert in strategic development of mentoring in India.

The participants took proactive part at the seminar, asked many questions for clarification, and concluded with expressing positive opinion on the seminar work and agreed to follow up during implementation of Business Accelerator programmes.
